20 unanswered question about september 11 2001

Although it's an old article, most of the 20 Unanswered Questions about the world trade centre attack have still not been answered.

And the answers sure won't be found in this list of misleading statements by members of the USA govt on the matter.

We can only cringe about any Gullible Tool that has swallowed this hook line and sinker.

Troy: Dr, are you sure its on? I can't hear a thing.

Dr Nick: (screaming) It's whisper quiet!

Well the powersupply on my PC died in the heat the other day, so I started shopping around for bits.. after a while I got enticed by a the Antec Sonata and all the reviews expounding it's silence, purchased the big shiny box with "hear the silence" printed on the packaging, and spent a while wiring up my mobo into it.. and it's as loud, or maybe even louder than my other PC case. The lack of quietness is getting me some sarcastic comments given the promises of the packaging and maybe the design r marketing) is a bit hyped.

The case is very well made, with all the extra drive bays and quality bits (another thing that tipped me to getting a better case was slicing my hand on the old one) and rubber grommets and what not, but it does not signifigantly damp any of the noise of my system.

Although my old case didnt have any extra fans, so maybe I am not comparing it to the fan laden hypercooling boxes that this case is positioned against, plus the my graphics card fan is quite whiny to start with.

It's still a nice case though.

morlam music

amazingly under rated in Thailand, this is the music of the working class from the north eastern regions, although it can be heard all over Thailand. Educated and urban Thais turn their noses up at it, but it is by far the most interesting, original and soulful music you will hear in Thailand. Bangkok pop, that cheesy mass produced pap, pales into comparison compared to the gutsiness of Morlam.

I got two recent Karoake VCDs when I was in Thailand, Jintara Poonlarb - Roob lhor lai mia and Karaoke VCD : Banyen Raggan - Kor doo jai korn.

Both of these are excellent examples of the morlam genre, with Barnyen being the more purer in style. I wish I had a chance to see some shows last time I was there.

A few other links to check out.
